The ancients praised "tea on the Mengding Mountain, water in the Yangtze River". The tea on the Mengding Mountain was produced in Ya'an. The caravan men started from here: from Kangding to Litang, from Batang to Changdu where the three rivers flow together, and finally to Lhasa. On the ancient tea horse road, Changdu has always been an important hub town.
